A 1968 Election Discussion with Jerry Williams on WBZ

While working on the post with the two interviews of John McLaughlin by my favorite talk radio personality Jerry Williams, I also came across more YouTube videos of Jerry on the radio. They don’t make talk radio like they used to.

Rush Limbaugh keeps saying that it all began with his show, talk radio, during the 1980s. But there were several other talk radio shows that existed before him, especially on the clear channel 50,000 watt stations such as WBZ in Boston that can be heard in supposedly 38 states, and WOR in New York.

Not only that, but there were several talk radio programs before the 1980s that were intelligent and diverse, and which featured two-way discussions between host and guests and between host and callers. Most of talk radio now, in contrast, consists of the host going on and on and on and on, and when they do take callers it’s mainly an echo chamber. It’s mostly not a discussion consisting of diverse points of view, merely mutual agreements.

Jerry Williams (1923-2003) was a talk radio personality who discussed controversial political and social issues throughout his career from 1957 to 1998. He was mainly on WRKO, WBZ, and WMEX in Boston, and WBBM in Chicago, as well as a few other stations.

In his shows during the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s, Jerry Williams was himself very articulate with the issues as well as being a talented humorist and he knew how to tease callers to elicit emotional responses from them. And he was not afraid to confront those in power and call out the corrupt including police. I didn’t agree with him on everything, but it sure was good to hear him.

While the old Jerry Williams tribute site seems to be gone probably because the website owner decided to not renew it, I have found some new YouTube videos featuring Jerry on WBZ and WBBM.

But we don’t really hear that kind of back and forth any more. Now it’s all echo chamber on talk radio, in the same way the mainstream news shows, such as Meet the Press with Chuck Toady and Fake the Nation on CBS, have their own echo chambers on the other side of the political spectrum.

So in this video that I have found, Jerry Williams on WBZ hosts a live forum at the time of the 1968 Presidential election, with guests including columnist Jack Anderson, White House correspondent Sid Davis, and a WBZ newscaster. They discuss polls, whether or not polling is biased, the campaigns of Nixon, Humphrey and George Wallace and the people who support those candidates. They do discuss actual issues as well, although they don’t even refer to the Vietnam War until at least 45 or 50 minutes into the discussion.

I knew about the 1968 Democrat convention and all the protests, but toward the end of the discussion one of the panelists mentioned that the Republican convention in Miami also had protests and rioting that resulted in 6 deaths. Now, I can’t find any verification of that online, so maybe that guy is wrong about it. It might have been Jack Anderson who mentioned that, I’m not sure.

Some people may not find this hour-long discussion of interest, but I am sure that history buffs will.

Shocker: BureaucRATS and Their Media Mouthpieces and Scribblers Are Not Our Friends

It appears as though House Democrats are rethinking their strategy to remove Donald Trump from the White House. They may still be writing articles of impeachment, but they have no case against him with the “controversial” phone call with the Ukrainian president, just as they had no case in Russia-Russia-Russia.

I have never seen such a mass of hysterical activists in their hatred of one guy. Many of these people in Warshington need some kind of counseling. They are deranged. But then, on the other side we have the flag worshipers and military worshipers who agree with acquitting or pardoning murderers and war criminals. Oh, well.

Anyway, during this whole impeachment farce that’s been going on since before Trump was even elected, the “news” media have led the charge in their lying and propaganda, and their corruption. We already know how dishonest many in the moonstream media were in their trying to help Obama get elected in 2008, and in their trying to help Hillary Rotten Clinton in 2016.

Just this week I heard on Sean Hannity’s radio show, which at times is like fingernails against the chalkboard, Mark Simone being interviewed along with Joe Unconcha. Simone noted how corrupt the “news” media are now, and he named Chuck Toady but didn’t want to mention other names. (That’s me referring to “Toady,” not Simone.) And that’s right. Chuck Toady is extremely corrupt and dishonest, especially in the way he words some of his questions for Trump supporters on the Sunday blab show (which I hear on Bloomberg Radio, because I stopped watching TV 25 years ago — no surprise there). And I have heard George Snuffleupagus do this as well. They persist on asking the same question over and over, questions that are a part of an ongoing false narrative they seem to want to reinforce in the minds of the viewing sheeple.

The propaganda media along with the politicians and activists whose main priorities are abortion, race and identity politics, have gone off the deep end, if that’s possible. During Iran-Contra Ronald Raygun would refer to the Press as the “sharks” coming after him shouting questions, but during all the 1990s Bubba Clinton investigations like Whitewasher Bubba had his defenders in the media. Now we have CNN the Most Untrusted Name in “News” with Unreliable Sources host Brian Helter-Stelter calling Trump supporters a “cult.” Are you serious? Well, many of the Trumpies really do behave in a cultish way, with the flag worship and all, but with the zombies on the left there is no comparison. We have the abortion cult, the race cult, and LGBT cult. Speaking of the LGBT cult, some people are wondering if Mayor Pete Bada-Bing (Bada-Boom) is going to be the first gay President, but we already had one. Oh, well.

And now we hear from leaks and drips that the Horowitz IG report is going to whitewash FBI spying on the Trump campaign? And it looks like AG Barr is also engaged in whitewashing, just as he’s whitewashing the Jeffrey Epstein suicide “conspiracy theories,” and on and on. Lather, rinse, repeat. And will we ever know whether it’s only a conspiracy theory that FBI and CIA are a pedophile cult? If so, maybe that’s why the cover-ups. What a bunch of sickos. Especially many in the “news” media as well. As Lew Rockwell said to a New York Slimes reporter intruding on the Mises Institute, these scribblers for State press releases are a part of the Regime. And as former CIA officer John Kiriakou wrote just recently, the mainstream media who shield FBI malfeasance are our enemy. That’s not good, in a “Constitutional Republic.” (Or perhaps it’s more of a rethuglic. “A rethuglic, if you can keep it,” as Ben franklin might say.)

So, everything we already know up to now is really a “conspiracy theory.” Go figure. The government life-long parasites, Barr, Horowitz, Durham, et al. are apparatchiks, no different from Soviet Schiff! They are the swamp, and it appears there will be no draining, people. I hope that turns out to be incorrect, of course.

The American Sheeple’s Faith in Fake Science

Jon Rappoport has two terrific articles on his blog. In the first one, A whole branch of science turns out to be fake, he notes the fraud and lack of science behind psychiatric diagnoses. The pharmaceutical industry is excited when the new Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) is published, in which the establishment shrinks invent new disorders which will multiply the numbers of diagnoses every year, thus increase even more the prescribing of poisonous psychiatric drugs to profit from.

The second article, Fake science in the Oklahoma Bombing, covers the 1995 bombing of the Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City. With fake science and government cover-ups, the government’s conspiracy theory of “anti-government militia blowing up the building with a Ryder truck” is believed by the sheeple. He writes toward the end of the article, “If the federal government can egregiously lie about an event as huge as the Oklahoma Bombing, using fake science as a cover—what wouldn’t they lie about?”

Abolish Government Schools

It is usually informative to hear Sean Hannity and others on the radio with the other side of the story that the mainstream media won’t give us, especially in the Democrats’ and national security state’s crusade to get rid of Donald Trump. But these same talk radio sheeple love the national security state, They love police and military, and armed and uniformed goons. They are authoritarians and believe in “America First” and not Freedom First, in my view. So if the political parties were in the reverse, I don’t believe they would be telling us about FISA abuses and so forth. And the conservatives, by the way, LOVE the government schools.

Anyway, it looks like the Democrats are going to “impeach” Donald Trump, and for made-up things promoted by all the invited guests, those career government parasites at the hearings. But the Democrats will not be impeaching Trump for his continuing to authorize drone strikes that do nothing but kill innocent civilians overseas or his criminally keeping Gitmo open, etc. Nope. Democrats don’t care about those things.

The Democrats don’t care about civil liberties or due process, as we have seen from their Mueller fiasco and this impeachment farce. And they don’t care about freedom of speech either. No, they care about someone saying or tweeting rude or obnoxious things, and they are obsessed with abortion.

And the apparatchiks of the national security state want to get rid of Trump because he refuses to be their puppet (or he’s trying not to be).

And they all know that whoever their nominee is in 2020, s/he will not beat The Donald. In theory, it would be easier to beat Mike Pence, but the Democrats’ and spooks’ 3-year-long crusade of political harassment and abusing the legal and legislative process will fail anyway.

What’s really disappointing on a daily basis is hearing all these “news” deliverers and “analysts” in the media, their repeating what the impeachment hearing witnesses are saying, that Trump’s phone call with Ukrainian President was a “quid pro quo,” despite the law requiring Trump to make sure corruption in a foreign aid recipient country is being addressed before receiving the aid, and despite the corruption with Joe Biden and Junior Biden.

The “news” media continuously call the stuff about the Bidens, Ukraine and the 2016 election “debunked conspiracy theories” like those media buffoons are programmed robots. So many people in the media do not think or act independently, they do little or no actual investigative research, and/or are just plain dumb people. Although there are some who aren’t so dumb, and they have seen plenty of actual information that refutes the official narrative, but they obediently and dishonestly carry on the Hate-Trump Crusade.

I think that most of those in the media repeating the official narrative are doing so out of laziness, obedience to authority, and because they have been brainwashed by their upbringings and government schooling to take the word of officials with a (D) after their name.

And I am not a Trump supporter as regular readers (if any still exist) know. If you are disillusioned with Democrats now but don’t like the Rethuglicans, you might consider supporting Jacob Hornberger in 2020. Just thought I’d throw that in there.

Now, what else has been in the news? The American Psychological Association style guide now endorses or requires using “they” as a replacement for he, him, she, her, etc., as a singular pronoun, according to the College Fix, even though “they” is a plural pronoun. The reason for this idiocy is to be more “inclusive” and “affirming,” and for authors to “avoid perpetuating prejudicial beliefs or demeaning attitudes in their writing.”

Harvard University was one of the first places of higher “education” to implement these changes, regardless of the likelihood that an “educational” institution’s use of incorrect grammar will cause such writers or speakers to leave a less literate impression on others. So, not good for job-seekers, in my view.

Maybe this is a part of the larger contributor to why so many people in the “news” media are themselves illiterate and why they believe everything that government bureaucrats tell them, no?

You see, there really are people who are so brainwashed now that they believe using “he” or “she” in writing is “demeaning” or “non-inclusive.” Most of the people who believe those things are the same kinds of people as described above, Democrats, who also don’t believe in freedom of speech and due process. And I thought Rethugs were bad.

Using “they” as a singular pronoun is bad because it is incorrect grammar. If people really are offended by it, then they, including those members of the American Psychological Association, need some kind of counseling. Talk about extremely insecure, neurotic sheeple! (And the American Psychiatric Association as well! They’re sick dudes, in my view.)

There’s a whole Wikipedia page devoted to “Singular they.” Doh!

Speaking of the formerly first-rate Harvard, another article by the College Fix tells us about Harvard hosting “Anal Sex 101” and “Oral Sex 101” workshops.

This sex obsession and perversion in our society is another contributor to the decline in literacy and thinking abilities in Harvard professors and their students, and among people in the “news” media, and escapees from the government schools.

According the the College Fix, “On-campus sponsors include Queer Students and Allies, Harvard College Women’s Center, Office of BGLTQ Student Life, Office of Sexual Assault Prevention and Response, Harvard College Reproductive Justice Action and several other campus groups.”

“Reproductive Justice Action”? What is “reproductive justice”? (Making sure that Roe v Wade isn’t overturned? Killing their offspring as a “rite of passage” is these deranged SJW’s main purpose in life!)

The article quotes Mary Eberstadt, author of Primal Screams: How the Sexual Revolution Created Identity Politics: “It’s especially ironic that Sex Week gets Harvard’s imprimatur even as some of the men of #MeToo are appearing in courts. Sex Week promotes the same deformed view of the human person that led such men to harassment and assault in the first place: one dominated by pornographic narratives according to which human beings are always and everywhere available for any sexual permutation, no matter how problematic to their psyches or inimical to their health.”

We live in a perverted, sick society now. Can we reverse this? This is giving me a headache, quite frankly.

What else is in the news? Chick-fil-A will no longer donate to Salvation Army and other Christian-oriented charities. Obviously because of the loud screaming by the LGBT activists, who call the restaurant’s products “hate chicken.”

I think that “social justice” activists have decided to redefine the word “hate,” just as they are mangling singular and plural pronouns. And they have no clue as to what “quid pro quo” really means!

The Christian haters claim to be “anti-hate”? I. Don’t. Think. So.

I think that many of the LGBT activists are brainwashed. There’s no other explanation why they act this way. The same goes for the people in CONgress wasting time and money on a farce impeachment. They are brainwashed apparatchiks. Thanks to government schools.

And talk about totalitarian-minded fascists, these activists. Now we have LGBT activists demanding that others accept and “affirm” their ways of life! Others must accept the lunacy of transgender or multi-genders, or else the activists will make sure you get fired from your job, that you are deplatformed, that you are dropped from your credit card company, etc. They mean business, these activists.

Worse, the government schools are now requiring that little kids become activists for the government teachers and bureaucrats’ social causes, including the kooky ones noted above. According to Town Hall, 3rd graders will learn “how we can be agents of communal, social, political, and environmental change.” But don’t learn math, because that’s racist.

Abolishing government schools is really the only answer to all this crap, from the political ills to the social ills. That means no more local school committees, no more local superintendents of schools, no more crazy government-imposed curricula. Yes, this privatization and de-monopolization of education is necessary.

Unfortunately, the conservatives love government schools as a means to force their own repressive and authoritarian social agenda down the throats of kids. And unless the conservatives change their tune in their sheepish acceptance of government schools, then I think the leftists really will win.

The Late TV Host John McLaughlin in 1970s Interviews on Nixon Impeachment

There really are some similarities between Richard Nixon’s impeachment situation and Donald Trump’s impeachment situation now, in my view.

With Nixon what I would call the entrapment scheme included CIA breaking into DNC offices, etc., and then E. Howard Hunt getting Nixon to attempt to cover up the whole thing. I believe it was a pre-planned scheme concocted by national security apparatchiks and not really of Nixon’s own doing. Why would the national security state do this? They were clearly motivated by Nixon’s talks and detente with Russia and China, much like what Trump has been trying to do now with Russia and other foreign regimes.

Because Nixon’s attempts to relax the Cold War threatened the government parasite gravy train in Washington, the national security apparatchiks wanted to get rid of Nixon. Assassinating him was obviously not good given that they knocked off a previous President, Kennedy, who had tried to have talks with Russia and push for peace. There were many skeptics of the Warren Commission’s attempt to whitewash the truth. Such an assassination being by a “lone nut” has not been believed by the non-gullible.

Currently we have national security state operatives, a.k.a. “deep state” (although it’s not so deep now, is it?) who didn’t like Trump openly criticizing the FBI’s mishandling of terrorism and 9/11 or their inability to prevent 9/11, as well as Trump’s criticism of the Iraq war.

So the national security state actively and illegally used FISA warrants to spy on the Trump campaign and the Trump White House flunkies, they made up a fake dossier to frame The Donald, hired a special counsel to go on a fishing expedition for further framing, which nonetheless exonerated Trump. And now they are doing impeachment hearings based on one phone call, whereas they can easily take ANY phone call between Obama or Bush and others and make something up to criminalize such phone calls.

During the 1970s Jerry Williams interviewed the late TV news host John McLaughlin several times. Here are two of those interviews, in which they discuss the Nixon impeachment hearings. McLaughlin was severely defensive of Nixon, and Jerry Williams was someone who hated Nixon like you wouldn’t believe. Hearing these interviews, I am amazed by Jerry’s ability to bite his tongue and remain objective.

For those who don’t know, Jerry Williams was a talk radio personality from the 1950s to the 1990s, heard mainly in Boston on WMEX, WBZ and WRKO, and in Chicago on WBBM, and was one of my favorites on talk radio during the 1980s.

The first video is from November of 1973. At that time McLaughlin was known as Father John McLaughlin, when McLaughlin was still an active Catholic priest while working for the Nixon administration.

In this first interview, one of the callers was giving McLaughlin the third degree regarding what “mistake” Richard Nixon had made that McLaughlin was referring to, for example was it the Watergate break in? and so forth. There was a tense back and forth between McLaughlin and the caller that we rarely hear now on talk radio.

McLaughlin also discusses some aspects of the Nixon impeachment hearings that have some similarities to what we’ve been hearing in today’s news regarding Trump.

In the 2nd video, the page says it is from March of 1974, but the graphics on the beginning of the video have the date of July 1973. It’s 1974 because at one point Jerry Williams read from a newspaper column he said was from 2/27/1974. At the end of the video was the station’s on-the-hour newscast that included mention of Harold Wilson officially becoming British Prime Minister which was March 4, 1974.

Toward the beginning of the 2nd video, Fr. McLaughlin and Jerry Williams talk about McLaughlin’s “two hats,” his hat as a priest and his separate hat as a hack assistant to the President, Richard M. Nixon.

Obviously, the point of view that I expressed above regarding the national security state’s taking down Nixon is not expressed by either of these two on the radio. Even Nixon himself believed that he shouldn’t have stupidly covered up the Watergate break-in crimes of CIA, but I now see it all as planned out by them in order to ensnare Nixon toward impeachment or resignation. Gerald Ford, by the way, was a “deep stater” if there ever was one.

Today’s Anti-Immigration Nationalists And Their Love of Central Planning and the Police State

Thomas DiLorenzo writes on LRC about the curse of American nationalism, with reference to the recently published Volume 5 of Murray Rothbard’s Conceived in Liberty, transcribed from Rothbard’s handwritten notes and edited by Patrick Newman. DiLorenzo quotes Rothbard regarding the early American nationalists,  such as “Alexander Hamilton, John Adams, Sam Adams, John Hancock, Thomas Paine…” who wanted to “destroy the original individualist and decentralized program of the American Revolution.”  DiLorenzo writes that “Conceived in Liberty tells the story, chapter and verse, of how these men subverted and overthrew the principles of American freedom that inspired the American Revolution with their ‘devious and sinister machinations,'” as Rothbard would put it.

Now, I don’t know whether DiLorenzo agrees with me on the immigration issue. But that is one issue in which today’s nationalist conservatives go off the deep end, and abandon their supposed advocacy of private property and free markets in the name of American nationalism and their deeply indoctrinated worship of “America” with all the myths and glorification that go with it.

Today’s conservatives are supporters of centralization and government central planning in many aspects of life. And they love the tyrannical national security state. With the faux “war on terror” and the wars on drugs and immigration, today’s nationalist conservatives are police statists and militarists. Not big on individualism, decentralization or privatization, these people.

One of today’s extreme nationalists, Michelle Malkin, has been on the talk shows promoting her anti-immigration and “stand with ICE” tour and her book, Open Borders, Inc.

Stand with the police state, you mean. Certainly not stand with freedom, and the ideas of the Declaration of Independence, such as unalienable rights.

Now Malkin is being snubbed by conservative groups because of her defense of someone named Nick Fuentes who has been accused of being an anti-Semitic Holocaust denier and a racist. Malkin still insists on defending Fuentes, despite his controversies. I don’t know why. And her tour is now being banned by the intolerant academic fascists on the left, including the latest being Bentley College.

Malkin, and her anti-immigration cohorts Donald Trump, Ann Coulter et al. have this collectivist, nativist ideology that overrides whatever support they might ever have for the founding principles of America.

In fact, regarding the immigration issue, in one of the Founders’ complaints against the King in their Declaration of Independence, Jefferson wrote:

He has endeavoured to prevent the population of these States; for that purpose obstructing the Laws for Naturalization of Foreigners; refusing to pass others to encourage their migrations hither, and raising the conditions of new Appropriations of Lands.

Do they know this? So, these so-called conservative people of today are really anti-free market, anti-private property and anti-freedom of association. As I wrote in this post summarizing several past posts on immigration, when you have genuine free markets people sell their labor or goods to employers or customers, and such contracts are between them and don’t involve third parties unless specifically noted. And in a society of freedom and free markets people come and go as they please. No police state at the border, no having to report to government bureaucrats. As I wrote in that post, statists look to the ruling government bureaucrats for validation.

In contrast to the free society, if you favor the current system that consists of workers and employers having to get the government’s permission to do business or trade, then that is socialism, not capitalism and not freedom. Private property rights are such that an individual owns his own labor and sells it to an employer in a voluntary contract. When you have to get a third party’s permission or ultimate authorization in these things, then the real owner is that third party, not the laborer or employer. In the current system of government ownership of the people and “their” property, that third party owner is the U.S. government.

There are a lot of myths thrown around in the immigration debate, and one of them asserts or implies some kind of collective ownership of the U.S. territory as a whole, but there is no such collective ownership. If so, then such an arrangement overrides private property rights.

Once again I ask, why aren’t these so-called conservatives spending their time and activism on getting rid of the welfare state if they’re worried about “illegals” coming and getting on welfare? Because they LOVE the welfare state! They love Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid. Otherwise they would constantly advocate those socialist programs be abolished.

But there shouldn’t be government confiscation of private wealth or earnings — that’s criminal. There shouldn’t be government-imposed redistribution in any case, whether redistributed to other people here or to foreigners. Those schemes are immoral, illegitimate, and criminal, in my view.

And why are today’s conservatives so short-sighted, like the ones on the left? They don’t seem to want to address the causes of the “illegals” and the caravans coming up from the southern border. Such causes include U.S. government’s foreign interventions and foreign aid to corrupt regimes in Central America, and the “war on drugs.” The immigrants are fleeing because of the violence as consequences of drug prohibition. But sadly, many of today’s conservatives support the drug war and the nanny state in which we must turn to gubmint to tell us what we may or may not consume in our “own” bodies. Today’s conservatives support siccing the goon government police on innocent, peaceful people who haven’t harmed anyone, just as is the case with immigrants. It is the goons of ICE, that Michelle Malkin et al. love so much, who are the thugs.

And given that many more violent crimes are committed here by U.S. citizens than by immigrants, the fact that these “conservatives” spend so much time and activism only concentrating on the unauthorized entrants to the territory, then that tells me that it’s not about crime, it’s not about “stealing Americans’ jobs,” it’s not about welfare, it’s all about foreigner hating, and that’s it. It’s about collectivist nativism, and envy and covetousness as well, very much like that of the left.

If today’s conservatives such as Michelle Malkin, Rush Limbaugh and all the ditto-heads really favored the principles of America’s founding, they would promote unrestricted free markets, protection of private property, decentralization and abolishing of the police state.

The Vaccine Issue Will Not Go Away

As Jon Rappoport writes in his post on the vaccine scandals the press is ignoring, “Some lies are so big, many people can’t accept the fact that they’re lies. Their minds are boggled. ‘No,’ they say, ‘that couldn’t be.’ But yes, that could be, and is.”

Many people, unfortunately, are continuously bamboozled and duped by establishment medicine and Big Pharma propaganda from the moonstream media. “That’s been debunked,” goes the hysterical True Believers, even though there hasn’t been any debunking. “The science is settled,” and “There’s no more discussion.” Have you heard these cries of ignorance?

And, in this post on the flu and the pushing of the flu vaccine, Jon Rappoport writes:

Not every mainstream medical professional is trying to lie about the flu.

Most of these people, as a result of their indoctrination, simply assume conventional wisdom is true.

But as you move toward the top of the ladder—for example, public health agencies like the US Centers for Disease Control (CDC)—there are definitely some first-class liars on board.

The information I’m about to spring on you—and I’ve posted this before—is in the category of: HOW CAN THAT BE TRUE? IF THAT WERE TRUE, THEN EVERYTHING I’VE BEEN TOLD AND EVERYTHING I’VE BELIEVED IS INCREDIBLY FALSE.

And that’s a problem for many people. They would rather hold on to a falsehood than shift allegiance to the truth, when the truth makes them view authority figures in a whole new light.

And he continues with a lot of information on the CDC’s propaganda campaign.

For more information, Children’s Health Defense has this Science Library page with links to a large list to click on in its research database. For example, links to the Autism page, detailing several studies on the matter, as well as on SIDS and MMR.

And today children’s health advocates gathered to mark the 33rd anniversary of the National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act, which excuses vaccine makers from injury lawsuits. The feds i.e. taxpayers foot the bill. So far, it’s past $4 billion. There is no incentive for vaccine safety by Big Pharma cronies such as Merck, Glaxo, Pfizer, etc. Shame on them.

The Democrat and Republican Parties Are a Criminal Racket

Jacob Hornberger may or may not agree with me that the two major political parties are a criminal racket. And I’ll explain further down why I think they are.

But he sure writes terrific columns. In this one Jacob comments on Elizabeth Warren’s socialist soak-the-rich plan. He notes that the U.S. had no income tax for over 100 years, in which Americans were free to do whatever they wanted with their own wealth and earnings. It was not stolen from them by the government.

But in 1913 the gubmint convinced i.e. bamboozled the American people to accept a compulsory income tax, sans any kind of voluntary contract. It was an involuntary contract, the same kind of involuntary contract that a robber has with his victim on the street. “Your money or your life,” and so on. Yep, that gubmint.

Hornberger writes:

So, what happened? Both Democrats and Republicans began spending government money like it was going out of style on both domestic welfare-state programs and foreign warfare-state escapades. The result was that the middle class ended up getting fleeced to pay for all that welfare-warfare junk.

Just consider all the middle-class people today who are having trouble making ends meet. Manyof them do not have a nest egg in the event of an emergency. They live paycheck to paycheck. That’s because the federal government has fleeced them of their money to fund its ever-burgeoning welfare-warfare state expenses.

There is something else to consider about Warren’s “soak the rich” philosophy. It ultimately hurts the middle class and the poor. The rich provide valuable services in society. One, many of them own businesses that employ middle class and poor people. Two, the rich accumulate capital, which is a key to rising standards of living for the middle class and the poor. Three, many of the rich become rich by providing goods and services that the middle class and the poor value. And four, the rich buy expensive products when they are first invented, which ultimately leads to mass production that enables the middle class and poor to buy such products.

Soaking the rich leads to impoverishment of the middle class and poor. Just look at Cuba, where Warren’s socialist counterparts seized everything from the rich, including money, businesses, and homes. At first, it was party time with all that money and property. But over time, the socialist system started caving in on itself, leaving everyone in Cuba impoverished.

Of course, Warren would undoubtedly argue that at least everyone in Cuba is equal in the sense that everyone is equally poor. But is that really a good thing? Wouldn’t it be better if everyone in society is prospering, even if some have more than others?

Nope. Liawatha would prefer that everyone be equally poor, and not that people are prospering. Except for herself, her fellow apparatchik commissars in the bureaucracy, and their crony industrialists, of course.

Just like in Cuba, North Korea, Venezuela, the old Soviet Union, and of course, today’s good ol’ USSA.

That is why the whole area surrounding Washington, DC is the wealthiest area of the country.

So “soaking the rich” really just means stealing from everyone as much as possible, and living high off the hog at the expense of the workers and producers of society.

Of course, these criminals are causing, or would cause, a continually diminishing population of workers and producers, that’s for sure. They will put everyone out of work in the current “capitalist” system, and the minimum wage laws are a micro view of all that. Instead, in their world the gubmint is the one “employer” i.e. master, and the rest of the population are the “workers” i.e. slaves.

So Liawatha, Bernie, and the rest of those criminal kooks are “SOAKED” with more envy and covetousness than the more honest and normal people who don’t want to steal from their neighbors.

Additionally, the socialist grabbers and takers want to grab the reins of power and control all the industries, all the property, and make a whole bunch of rules that the rest of the population must follow — Do this, do that … Do things this way and don’t do things that way, and so on. Jawohl, Dear Leader! And with all that crap is that they want to control your thoughts by making you have to openly accept crazy things like transgender nonsense and all the group identity politics that they espouse.

But the Republicans are just as bad as the Democrats. Republicans believe in socialism just as much. They love the income tax, Social Security, Medicare, Prescription Drug Welfare, foreign aid, and all the other forms of compulsory redistributionism that are now in place.

In fact, I would go so far as to suggest that the Republican and Democrat parties are a criminal racket, because throughout the years they have imposed laws, fees and restrictions on third parties or otherwise non-establishment candidates to get their names on the ballots in elections. Any and all of those in power who have imposed such unconstitutional restrictions should be charged with racketeering, extortion, fraud, and whatever other charges that apply.

Also, the people in the U.S. government who have sent fellow Americans off to their deaths for no good reason in Vietnam and Korea, and started wars of aggression against Iraq and Afghanistan and initiated drone bombings and killings of innocent civilians in other countries, and imposed murderous sanctions, have been members of those two establishment parties, Republican and Democrat. They have not been Libertarians or Greens.

And it wasn’t Libertarians or Greens who imposed the aforementioned income tax-thefts, which have enabled those wars of aggression and redistributionism from the workers over to the military contractors the merchants of death. It was Republicans and Democrats. Certainly not Libertarians, Greens or members of the Constitution Party.

Involuntary taxes are acts of theft. Why? Because they are … involuntary. They are not based on a voluntary contract. For any transaction to be legitimate in a free society, it must be voluntary, not involuntary. If it’s involuntary, then it is nothing but stealing, robbery, theft, extortion, fraud, mugging, embezzling, pilfering, shoplifting, you name it. It is not an honest transaction. It is criminal.

So, in addition to the Democrats and Republicans’ restricting the rights of the people to participate in democracy and run for office (and oppose the power-abusers), those other reasons are further evidence that the two major parties are a criminal racket.
