Voluntary Decentralization Necessary to Restore Freedom

Here is a Libertarian Party tweet, a great thread here. There are some naysayers, but they probably like the idea of dependence on corrupt thugs to rule over them. Some say such decentralization and a free society is impossible, but it would require an adherence to property rights and respect for the self-ownership rights of the people, and the right to self-defense of the people, which includes the right to keep and bear arms. Collectivism, Nationalism and Centralization Are Not Compatible with a Free Society

Rethuglican Sen. Willard Romney, the lone Rethug who voted to keep masking and stifling little kids as young as 2 and for no good reason, has decided to call former Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard a “treasonous liar” in her discussions of U.S. funded bio labs in Ukraine. Frankly I think Romney is treasonous in his vote for government-imposed child abuse of little kids. Pierre Delecto is scum.

And why is it that so many of today’s “liberals,” really not liberal but just leftists, are the warmongers of today? They want the U.S. government and military to get involved in the Russia-Ukraine war. I think one reason for such idiocy is the long-lasting Trump Derangement Syndrome they suffer, because many of them are brainwashed to believe that Trump colluded with Russia and Putin to steal the 2016 election, regardless of how debunked all those claims have been.

But many “conservatives” are just as bad in the warmongering. Like the leftists, the “conservatives” or neocons or “hawks” don’t mind the thought of having World War III and nuclear war.

I think that much of the responsibility in the irrationality of today belongs to the government schools. Education shouldn’t be run or controlled by the government. We are suffering from the disaster of government schools, euphemistically known as “public schools.” See Murray Rothbard on the education issue. We need to de-monopolize education away from government control, as well as de-monopolize everything else.

The society is collapsing before our very eyes because the majority of the population have been indoctrinated to believe whatever the government tells them, hook, line and sinker. Generations of people are indoctrinated to be non-independent thinking robots, obedient slaves of centralized regimes, federal, state and local.

Besides the Russia-Ukraine issue, another example that I have seen recently of how people don’t think or pay attention and just react emotionally to situations is in New Hampshire. A bill to put a question on the ballot for NH to secede from the “union” sunk like a rock.

This post shows tweets by some of the NH state representatives who clearly believed the bill was a vote to secede from the “union,” when it was a bill to just put the question on the ballot. Now, some of the representatives understood what the bill was, but they really believed that it was dangerous to let the commoners, or the riffraff as some of them see us, have a say as to whether or not become independent.

Why, how dare we. Even though the American Revolutionaries became independent from the British regime. They seceded.

Democrat state senators Lou D’Allesandro and Cindy Rosenwald tweeted that the House just voted to “secede from the United States.” No, you couple of morons, they voted whether or not to put the question on the ballot to let the citizens vote on the question!

Rep. David Meuse tweeted, “When they’re not attacking public health, teachers, local control, union members, voting rights and working people—some NH Republicans think it’s a good idea to attack America instead.”

“Attack America”? Look who’s attacking America, the one who opposes letting the people vote on an issue! And Rep. Manny Espitia tweeted, “These 13 Representatives should be ashamed of themselves. Their vote to secede from the United States of America is disgraceful.”

So, Manny not only shows his ignorance of what a bill actually proposes, he calls people who believe in independence “disgraceful.”

And this is New Hampshire, everybody. The “Live Free Or Die” state.

Several others quoted in that Free State blog use words like, “traitors,” “Batsh*t insane GOPers,” “right wing crazy group,” and so on.

So this is a result of our government-run and government-monopolized education system. No wonder more informed and rational people want to secede!

These people really need to read the Declaration of Independence, which reads in part, “But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security. — Such has been the patient sufferance of these Colonies; and such is now the necessity which constrains them to alter their former Systems of Government.”

And the Declaration goes on to list the abuses of the King. In today’s context, it can refer to the abuses of the U.S. regime in Washington. The IRS goes after conservatives and Tea Partiers, the IRS and Congress steal from the workers yet bureaucrats live high off the hog on the stolen workers’ earnings, the CIA provokes foreigners to make Americans less safe, the NSA spies on Americans without suspicion and due process, the FBI concocts “terrorist plots” so the FBI can thwart their own plots that they concoct, the FBI makes up conspiracies to kidnap governors to frame or entrap people, the FBI instigates Capitol riots and “insurrections” and then persecute those who attended a rally and puts innocent people in solitary confinement without charges, etc., etc., etc. What’s not to like about these people?

Speaking of the FBI instigating Capitol riots, I’m sure the people opposing letting citizens vote on secession and/or opposing secession itself would approve of FBI going after people who attended a Trump rally and having the rally attendees’ own teenage kids spy on them on behalf of the FBI.

As far as “treasonous” “traitors,” Romney should talk, given he imposed his RomneyCare on the people of Massachusetts just so he could use it as an “accomplishment” in his failed run for President.

And there are people who are brainwashed and believe that Americans must be loyal to the regime in Washington, like we have some sort of obligation as citizens. So if we criticize gubmint policies we are “traitors,” as we’re hearing from people who oppose Biden’s warmongering.

Sorry, fascists. It’s the government and its bureaucrats and senators who are obligated to be loyal to the people! The bureaucrats are the ones who swear an oath to support and defend the Constitution, which includes the Bill of Rights. It is the employees of government who are obligated to be loyal to the people, not the other way around!

Unfortunately, the trend now is toward an authoritarian reversal of the Constitutional definition of treason, to now refer to when citizens show disloyalty to the government or to its bureaucrats. If you criticize the regime you are a traitor, according to the new authoritarians.

And as far as secession and decentralization, ALL the states should secede and become separate independent “nation-states,” and that is the only way to preserve and protect the society as a free society. And then, of course, each state can further decentralize, all the cities and towns and so on. And most of the functions of society that are currently seized and usurped by government fascists can be handled locally, privately and voluntarily. No stealing, no compulsion or coercion by a monopolist fascist.

So, why exactly doesn’t our current collectivist centralization of power and dependence on Washington work if we want this to be a free society?

Because first of all the territory is just too big. Hundreds of thousands of square miles. And also too many people. The population of 330,000,000 is just too big to all be one single country or one single political unit. It’s like trying to fit a square peg into a round hole.

Anyway, if you haven’t already learned the hard way by now, government is crap. It just is. And bureaucrats are scum. That’s just the way they are.

So to conclude, the nationalism and collectivism that has been going on mainly by the millions of obedient products of government schools, and the way the society is structured and centralized with government-monopolized functions, are not compatible with a free society.

What the Flag-Waving Truckers Might Be Missing

This video was linked to by Freedom’s Phoenix. I’m not familiar with this guy, Urban Farmer Curtis Stone, but this is an important message that people need to hear. He points to the flag-waving truckers in Canada and asks, Why are you waving that flag? He notes that the flag represents the corporate nation-state and when you wave or wear its flag you are acknowledging your subjugation to the nation-state. Gary Barnett on LewRockwell.com makes some similar important points. Curtis says the system we have now is dying and that the rulers want you to hang on so it can take you down with it. Instead, build a new system.

NH Free State Activist Carla Gericke Testifies on Behalf of Secession

Carla Gericke is a libertarian activist and New Hampshire Free Stater who gives testimony here in favor of putting a question on the ballot for New Hampshire voters to decide whether to secede and become an independent nation, just as the colonies seceded from the British.

Like the colonists’ oppressors King George and all his minions, our oppressors are slithering in the DC Swamp.

I wrote about Carla’s 2016 run for the state senate. In her 2020 run she was the Republican candidate and received 45% of the vote.

As I have said many times, this U.S. territory is just too big to be all one single political unit or country, at 3.8 million square miles and a population of 330,000,000 people.

It is time for a peaceful, voluntary decentralization and completely dismantle the totalitarian central planning Leviathan apparatus in Washington that has already destroyed, impoverished and murdered many, many lives.

Do We Need the Supreme Swamp to Decide Whether Gov May Forcibly Inject Us with Drugs?

I’m trying to write something about Amerika’s growing authoritarianism and fascism with the Covid psy-op and the Soviet January 6th psy-op, but I’m doing everything I can to avoid writing about that stuff right now. So here are some good tweets I’ve seen on the Supreme Bureaucrats.

Over my dead body, de Blasio, Adams, Wu, Newsom, et al. fascist scum.

It doesn’t matter how the Supremes rule on the vaccine mandate cases, because we already know what morons and statists the 9 lettered and robed imbeciles are from their past statements and decisions. The Supreme Court needs to be ended and thrown into the dustbin of history along with the entire useless U.S. government.

We will be better off with a decentralized society after we’ve seen all the evidence against central planning we need to see. See a recent article on all that by Karen Kwiatkowski. And by the way, a bill to put state independence i.e. divorce DC on the ballot in New Hampshire is moving through the state legislature as we speak.

Will New Hampshire Secede from the Dysfunctional States of America?

A New Hampshire state legislator has filed for a constitutional amendment to put a question on the 2022 state ballot for New Hampshire to leave the United States of America, a NHExit.

According to WND, the Amendment would read, “New Hampshire peaceably declares independence from the United States and immediately proceeds as a sovereign nation. All other references to the United States in this constitution, state statutes, and regulations are nullified.”

NYC Elections, and the Truth about “Ranked Choice” Voting

I don’t really know that much about the New York City mayoral election going on now. Apparently there have been some screw-ups and this “ranked-choice” voting supposedly is involved in some way.

In ranked choice voting, allegedly, if the top vote getter doesn’t get over 50% of the votes, then voters have stated who their second choice would be, and it goes on from there to intentionally confuse the voters, as that is one tactic of the cheaters out there in order to get their candidate who did not win, to win.

But the truth is, when you have the candidate who received the most number of votes but not over 50%, the rest of the candidates together are not the equivalent of a single candidate opposing that top vote-getter. The rest of the candidates are all individual candidates. They are not a collective group that equals one opponent to the top vote-getter. That just is not the case and it shouldn’t be the case. Yet, that is really what the “ranked choice” proponents seem to be implying. There is no legitimate reason to have to get over 50% of the votes!

Now, here is a legitimate election: the one who receives the most number of votes wins. And that’s it. You don’t have to get 50% or more. Just get the most number of votes. Duh. You can have many candidates, and the top vote-getter gets something less than 50% like 39% for sake of discussion, but the other candidates all received less than that candidate’s 39% and did not get as many votes as that candidate. Whoever gets the most number of votes is the winner. And that’s the legitimate way to do elections. Anything else is a bunch of made-up crap to confuse people, like a Common Core version of voting, in order for cheaters to get around the requirement of receiving the most number of votes, to steal an election.

And that’s what I have to say about that. Now, as far as New York City is concerned, if I lived in New York any candidate who wants to decentralize the city, i.e. to break it into separate independent cities, for example to have a City of Manhattan, a City of Queens, a City of Brooklyn, and so on, would probably get my vote. (And each new city can further decentralize into separate independent neighborhoods, etc., etc.) And further, any candidate who wants to repeal or just not enforce all drug laws, gun laws, selling individual cigarettes laws, sugary drinks laws, taxi medallion laws, all zoning laws, and most other laws and regulations that violate property rights and individual liberty, would probably get my vote.

Note to Israel (and the U.S.) From an Anguished Jewish American: Decentralize

The issues that cause me anguish have been the continuing conflicts between Israeli Jews and Arabs, the threats of Israel or the U.S. initiating a preemptive strike on Iran or Iran attacking Israel, and the Israeli government’s controversial building of new Jewish housing in East Jerusalem. It is difficult to find objective sources of information on the Arab-Israeli conflicts and the territories, which have been homelands to Jews and Arabs for centuries. Further, accusations of anti-Semitism or of being a “threat to security” have been thrown at anyone who criticizes Israel or exposes corrupt Israeli officials, but I, an anguished Jewish American, attempt to analyze these issues objectively from afar.

In addition to the U.S. government’s expansionist policies abroad, the Israeli State’s ownership of lands and its compulsory and monopolistic control over peoples’ lives has been contributing to the Middle-East’s woes for many years. People become corrupt when they are given the power of State, the power of compulsion over others and a monopoly over territorial protection. The current conflicts occur because territories are governed by the compulsory State apparatus of the Israeli government, although the Palestinian Authority and Hamas are also compulsory territorial monopolists. The idea of an entire nation to be known as a “Jewish State” has been a drawback as well, along with dependence on the State’s central planners as “protectors” of the Jewish people. Centralized governments do nothing but intrude into the lives of populations and provoke hostility. The way to peace for Israel is through decentralization.

Some people fear that the East Jerusalem construction projects will harm the neighborhood’s Arab population and further harm relations between the Israelis and the Palestinians. But who is the government, or the State, to be building homes for people, or decide which people can live in which neighborhoods? If the property in East Jerusalem were privatized, it would then be the owner(s) of the property who would decide what gets built and who lives there.

Private ownership of local property in each specific area gives the people who live there control over their neighborhoods, and control over their own lives, and thus would make them more likely to take responsibility for their lives and less likely to act aggressively against neighboring territories. For example, if the Israeli government didn’t interfere with the Gazans’ and others’ right to use their own natural resources, the Gazans could use the resources to support their daily living, or for exporting as a means of income.

A question that is perhaps taboo is whether there should even be a “Jewish State.” Or an “Islamic State,” or a “Christian State” or any territory devoted to people based on a religion. Some have argued that the Jewish people needed a homeland to protect them from persecution. During the mid-20thCentury, because of U.S. state-imposed immigration quotas (and other reasons), many Jews were prevented from entering the United States, and many fled to Israel as a “Jewish homeland.” American “immigration quotas” were state-imposed policies which violated the rights of Americans to freedom of association and contract, the right of families and property owners to accept Jewish immigrants without the State’s intrusions. Instead, a state-imposed “forced integration” brought many European Jews to Israel in the 1930s and ‘40s, eventually turning what had been an Arab majority into a Jewish majority in Israel.

What many people don’t realize is that persecutions have mainly been committed by States, or by people acting as agents of State. Throughout the later 19thCentury and 20thCentury, Jews had been fleeing Poland, Russia and Germany because of the “Pogroms” of the Russian Empire and from the German- and Nazi-initiated Holocaust.

More recently, former Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon’s forcing Israelis out of Gaza and parts of the West Bank in 2005, the “Disengagement Plan,” disrupted the lives of everyone in that territory, Jews and Arabs. It was no different from an “Apartheid Plan.” The state has no such moral authority, and has no moral claim on any land, just as it has no moral authority over any one individual’s life, and the State has no more right or moral authority to engage in “occupation” of certain territories than do private individuals have to trespass on others’ lands. But we should not blame the actions of the Israeli government on the Israeli people, who are not responsible for the actions of their government just as the Palestinian people are not responsible for the violent actions of Hamas.

My Grandma was lucky enough to leave Warsaw, Poland in 1912 at age 6 with her family, settling in a very welcoming and much freer New York City. Unfortunately, New York City is no longer that welcoming nor free, as the politicians’ taxaholism and regulatory nightmares have driven many people and businesses out of the city. Mayor Bloomberg reflects the mentality of politicians here and abroad for whom short-term fixes of confiscatory taxation and centralized bureaucratic and police control of the population is the way to solve problems. Centralized government is the real problem in New York, which needs to decentralize into separate, independent cities of Manhattan, Bronx, Queens, etc. Likewise, Israel’s centralized government has defeated the purpose of allowing Jews to have a “safe haven,” as the government’s oppressive policies not only restrict Israelis’ freedom of commerce, freedom of the press, freedom of movement and the right not to be forced to serve the state, but have also provoked Arab discontent and violence against the Israelis.

Rather than having a “Jewish State,” how about having a “free state,” or better, a “free country” of Israel (and the United States)? Follow Switzerland’s example, where much of the “public’s business” is handled at the local (as opposed to federal) level. Hans-Hermann Hoppe has written about the idea of decentralization of nation-states into many independent free cities, particularly in his book Democracy: The God That Failed, and his many articles at LewRockwell.com and The Mises Institute. In The Rise and Fall of the City, Hoppe goes even further than promoting the independence of individual cities, but individual households as well:

Households must be declared extraterritorial territory, like foreign embassies. Free association and spatial exclusion must be recognized as not bad but good things that facilitate peaceful cooperation between different ethnic and racial groups.

Such a change of decentralization, in addition to privatization and capitalization, is exactly what Israel needs, setting an example for the people of Iran, Iraq, and other countries (and the U.S.) to follow.

Decentralization also reduces the possibility that Israel could initiate a war with Iran. I am also anguished by the Big Government neoconservatives, whose suggestions of bombing Iran have been based on false propaganda. Short-term, present-oriented thinking is a common trait of the American neoconservatives, who have been supporting the U.S. government’s expansion into foreign lands to force transitions from theocracy to democracy among the Islamic states as though that will in some way protect Israel, despite many years of history to the contrary.

Unfortunately, the neoconservatives have a blind religious faith in the power and effectiveness of the State. In clinging to military industrial complex socialism and bureaucracy, the neocons support the U.S. government’s interventions and foreign entanglements with other governments, vicariously playing the role of “do-gooders” in a cops-and-robbers fantasy world in the name of protecting the U.S. and Israel. It is just as immoral to seize private wealth from American Muslims, Christians and Atheists for redistribution to Israel as it is immoral to seize private wealth from American Jews for redistribution to Muslim states such as Egypt, Jordan and Pakistan.

Like the left, the neocons have redefined “patriotism” as meaning not love of one’s country but love of the State, and that is also the prevailing attitude in mainstream Israel. It just seems that the neocons have an inability to engage in actual long-range planning that takes into account possible future consequences of the policies they support, and prefer to identify with that power of armed officialdom, force and monopoly. If one recognizes the neocons’ love of State for what it is, then one can see that they certainly seem to have more support for the Israeli government than for the Israeli people.

Just as the American Anti-Federalists have been the winners of the ideological and practical debate for over 200 years, if there ever were Anti-Federalists in Israel, they’d be right, too. Given that the main causes of civil strife have been centralized States, the real path to peace in Israel and the Middle-East (and the U.S.) is through privatization and decentralization.
